Amazon Prime Video organised a breakfast meeting for men & women from different media organisations on July 15th to inform them about Prime Video's official launch coming up on August 4th. This week Prime video announced they're officially in Nigeria and that their website (www.primevideo.com) is now accessible in Nigeria and that a VPN is no longer needed to subscribe to the service. The also announced that a fee of N2,300 is all you need to enjoy a month of over 20,000 movies and series on Prime Video. Another major announcement made was that Jade Osiberu's highly anticipated crime thriller Gangs of Lagos will be the first Prime Video original out of Nigeria and out of Africa. The release date for the movie is however, yet to be announced.
