The Devil’s Hour Season 2 is confirmed by Amazon Prime Video! And that’s not ALL the good news: originally billed as a one-off, limited series, The Devil’s Hour has been renewed not for one, but for TWO seasons: Season 2 and Season 3. The double dose of renewal came less than a month since the new thriller series came out in October. What a great success for the creative team and especially for British screenwriter Tom Moran, who created and wrote The Devil’s Hour, his first ever TV show. The new British series has been highly praised by critics and viewers on both sides of the Atlantic. On Rotten Tomatoes, it boasts a sky-high viewer approval score of 86 and a unanimous vote of a hundred from critics. 40-year old British actress, Call the Midwife alum, Jessica Raine will return as Lucy Chambers. And 64-year old Oscar-winning Scottish actor Peter Capaldi, best known for TV shows Doctor Who and The Thick of It, will be back as Gideon Shepherd. In Season 2, “Gideon’s true intentions are finally revealed, as he attempts to involve Lucy in his mission to stop an elusive force of evil.” The second season will have plenty of crazy twists, and will be simultaneously a prequel and a sequel to the first one. Viewers can expect a 6-episode Season 2 of The Devil’s Hour to be released on Amazon Prime Video in Fall 2023.
